The New "RSG" NFPA compliant restraint uses a
completely redesigned system to hold the SCBA in place in the
event, the vehicle is in a collision. It uses a positive
locking "Halo" to hold the top of the tank in place. And a
"Receiver" to secure the valve end of the tank.
The Halo is released when the firefighter
simply push's down on the release button mounted conveniently on
the seat. The release button can be mounted on the left,
right, or front edge of any seat.
Compliant to NFPA 1901-03
Exceeds NFPA standard, Independent 3rd party tested.
Tested without failure to a 30g impact.
